On
Friday, October 23, 2009, it was brought to my attention that
the then-current webmaster of CHARLESCOPELAND.COM, Shawn King,
had spent months misrepresenting me, my work, my intentions
and actions. This is because, for the most part, I am far too
trusting of people I deal with on an everyday basis. This
overt misrepresentation led others to conclude that I had been
lying about myself and my work and for them to publicly accuse
me of it. I would normally have let a good number of these
petty accusations run their courses if they truly were petty.
It turns out, however, that some of them were openly hostile
and one in particular was downright accusing me of criminal
activity. When it gets to that point, I cannot and will not
allow those lies to continue being spread. |
